About me

My name is Klaudia Polakowska. I’m an artist and photographer.

I started painting as a child and have always felt close to nature — it’s still where most of my work begins. I paint and photograph landscapes and portraits, and I love working abstractly. My favourite techniques are watercolour, pencil, oil and acrylic, and I bring all of it together in my graphic design work, creating digital artwork with Adobe tools.

Originally from Poland and now based on the Devon coast, I’ve been exhibiting since 2003. My work is held in private collections across Europe and the United States, and I paint commissioned portraits — of people, places and pets — for clients worldwide.

In October 2026 one of my watercolours was selected for Art Mail: The Exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery, London — chosen from more than 8,000 submissions by artists in over 80 countries.
